My plans for dragonwarriors.uk are (slowly) coming together and I'm looking for feedback from a couple of volunteers to take a look at the content I've put together so far.

I don't want to make the URL of the new section public yet as I've not polished the site at all (included the SKG fan-publication policy, custom 404 error page, removed copyrighted images, finished the CSS, etc.), so am looking for anyone interested to PM me on this site and I'll respond with the URL of the content for review.

Any takers?

Cheers Hermes, would that I only had more time to do more.

By way of a progress report, the first tutorial - how to create a first rank Dragon Warriors character - is now finished (except to remove some copyrighted artwork) and I'm onto the next, which is going to be about Combat. As I want to write a simple little combat simulation game as part of this tutorial, this might take a little longer to complete...

I used to have a "Focus on the Forest" thread going about the Cobwebbed Forest and thought to motivate me to finish off the tutorials on the Dragon Warriors site, I'd do something of that ilk for this site - use peer pressure to motivate me to make some progress!

So, in November, I'd like to get the site ready to make public what little content there is. To that end:

1) Add the SKG Fan-Publication Policy disclaimer.
2) Create custom error pages.
3) Replace copyrighted images in the Character Creation tutorial with something that can be freely used for non-commercial purposes.
4) Finish the glossary of terms used in the first tutorials.
5) Finish the combat tutorial (just Evasion to go, so no biggie - it will be without the combat simulator application tho).

So, hopefully, by the end of the month, the first two basic tutorials will be ready to be revealed to the world - to much fanfare and glorious celebration.

I ended up doing MUCH more work under the covers on the http://www.dragonwarriors.uk site than I'd planned, but except for number 3 on the list, it's all done (well, that and the combat simulator - but that's separate from the tutorial, so I'm not counting it ;) ).

And to make up for the delay, there's a full introduction to the tutorials and the first draft of the Magic tutorial on the site as well (it's lacking a conclusion and examples on each page, but that should be there in the next week or so).

Feedback on this would be very much appreciated (even more so than my other projects) - on the design, content, clarity, and anything else that comes to mind as you have a look around.

Looks good....maybe just replace the word majicker with something else or just Magic Using Professions?
