Well, that didn't happen...

I blame real-life.

With Profantasy's products, I honestly do think the best way to learn to use them is to open the manual and go through the tutorials step by step. I've never really done this with most software, but because they use a CAD based approach, unless you're used to CAD a lot of things are 'backwards' compared to most graphics programs and you need to learn a new way of thinking to use it. It's very powerful once you start getting the hang of it, but the learning curve is difficult.

Besides that - https://secure.profantasy.com/community ... orials.asp - this page at their website has a lot of good tutorials. You may have to have a registered account (which you're entitled to if you've brought their products) to access that page - I'm not sure.

This project shuddered to a bit of a hiatus when I took a job in Dublin about 6 months ago - a lot of travelling (I live in the UK) and compressed weekends, etc. BUT, the contract is coming to an end before Easter, so will hopefully be picking this up again in the New Year. And I also plan to be more active on here again, too :).

It's been a long time since I posted, which is a little bit unfair to anyone waiting to see this fine fan-publication. It's stalled for reasons outside my control at the moment, but rest assured that this is still very much on my active to-do list for Dragon Warriors.

I'll keep y'all posted as and when progress is made.

Just to check Shaun, and I know you've had a lot of issues this year so no pressure, did you get around to that final polish on the Beltayne map?

I'll add my cheer, and waiting with bated breath.....mainly so I know how much to fiddle with my project once your done. ;)
