Kuublu engages his winning smile (looks 13). "I must say I am fortunate that I met my companion before I set off on my travels. It is most preferable to travel in a group. We ran into a pack of diseased hyenas and fortunately we were not exposed." Kuublu drinks deeply as a mark of respect. |

Mthunzi can't help but be impressed and perhaps a little wary of the authority that Kuublu seems to carry. He is also impressed by Kuublu's dagger (assuming it is not hidden), and ponders the value of such an item. "Sorry, I didn't catch your name." "My friend, it seems travelling is a frought business these days, as you have so recently found. May I ask where you and Ammu are headed as I myself am due to leave tomorrow." Mthunzi looks around a little nervously, then continues. "Perhaps we could walk the road together, I fear that diseased hyenas may be the least to fear as I have heard rumours of bandits and worse plaguing the peaceful traveller." |

Its definitely exposed and exhibited. Its components include various anatomical parts of higher mammals symbolizing overwhelming masculinity and authority. At least, it would've cost a lot to acquire the components if you didn't get them yourself, and you can be sure the original owners did not part with it readily.... Probably involved a lot of dead hunters... "I am going to Iintombi Intlambo to celebrate the birth of a new member of the family! It does appear that the roads are not as safe as they could be, it is the duty of every abled man to seek out and destroy man eating animals and anything that will pester women, children and the elderly. If you can join me we can celebrate when we get there!" Kuublu drinks deeply. If the beverage is alcoholic, he'll be rather enthusiastic, too enthusiastic to drain it... |

Indeed, this is a potent alcholic beverage... "Ha my friend, I like you. Why wait to celebrate, let us drink three times: to celebrate the birth of your new family member, to celebrate a new friendship, and to drink to the gods that we may have a safe journey." Mthunzi, feeling his head start to swim slightly also starts to relax.. "It would be a privelege for a poor traveller such as myself to accompany such fine fellows, so I will happily travel to Iintombi Intlambo with you. If the dogs are kind [that wine is strong!], I may make my fortune there! Hic!" Mthunzi tries to keep drinking and carousing with Kuublu... |

Some of the older men of the village came over to the two men and the seemingly snoozing Ammu, " Welcome to our home, esteemed ones." The oldest man, perhaps some 70 years, spoke next, " I offer you my home to sleep in, Nkosana*" *Prince or Lord. |

Kuublu, mind numbed by the large swigs of solvent makes a short hand signal acknowledging him. He tries to praise the elder for his generosity but can't quite get the words in order and stumbles like Yoda. "Generous of you, thanks.. Join us…." |

Ammu's eyes flick open and he springs to his feet. "Hello hello good sirs! Do you know us? I don't know you." OOC: Ammu's demeanor is bright an avuncular, which hopefully offsets the strong hint of suspicion in his words. He also is comfortable letting the elders assume he's Kuublu's retainer, priest, or adviser if they should happen (in spite of his rustic attire and equipage) to form that opinion. |

OOC: Has Mthunzi had any dealings with this old man during his stay in the village? Perhaps he has sold him a virility charm? (a fake of course) Does the old man seem to recognise or acknowledge Mthunzi? |

The oldest elder, who Mthunzi recalls is called Bulelani, nods respectfully to the other two. He has spoken with Mthunzi a few times over the last few days but he has been too wise to purchase anything. Mthunzi knows that the elder men here live together in the largest structure a wattle and daub building reinforced with wooden slats, they seem to be well regarded by the other villagers. He would assume being invited into their dwelling is as great an honour as they can give. Bulelani speaks, " Apologies, I am Bulelani and these others are my spirit brothers. Of course your household is welcome as well, Nkosana." |
