The moment Kuublu touches the staff he vanishes from sight and is replaced by a rather confused looking warthog. With little other option you gather his clothing and equipment and move on. You descend to the bottom of the newel staircase. Old bones and riven shields lie tangled here. Picking your way across the debris, you find yourselves at the intersection of two 3m-wide corridors. Looking north, you see a wide flight of steps leading down to a heavy mahogany portal. There are no doors along the east and west branches of the corridor that you can see, but when you shine your lantern south it falls upon two doors only a few metres from where you are standing. Kuublu slowly stands up from a forward crouched position. Despite his nakedness he slowly gets up and does not make an effort to cover up. "What happened? I reach for the staff, and now where are we?" |

Kuublu looks annoyed. He gestures Chiemeka for the staff, grasps it, holds onto it whilst looking at the others for maybe a minute. Before handing it back to him and 'getting dressed'.... Ok, once we got the gear strapped on... Kuublu advances. Will be awkward when he meets other nobility and this 'attack' comes on again..... |
