Dragon Warriors

OOC: Good thing Ammu is fairly strong. I'm hoping the Hyena's defence is reduced now that he can't run around. Ammu strikes again.

The two hyena milling about Kuublu were kept at bay by his shield and spear. As one moved around he lunged, spitting one through the chest. The creature yelped and sagged to one side coughing blood....

The hyena attached to Ammu ground its jaws around the padding but was unable to get through. As he lined up the knobkerrie on its skull the animal that had been vomiting suddenly sprang at seizing him around the right calf with its crushing jaws. He brought the knobkerrie down on its skull staggering the creature to the ground.

OOC: Ammu keeps on bashing at the most favorable target of opportunity.

"Ayee! Ayee! Ayee!"

Kuublu gives a high pitched shrieking warcry as he advances on the remaining hyena.

Both Ammu and Kuublu were thrown off balance and there blows went wide. The hyena attacking Kuublu snapped at thin air...the one attacking Ammu suddenly arched its back painfully and threw up a gout of phlegm and blood again.

The two injured animals still lay upon the ground, their wounds would barely have slowed a healthy animal but seemed to have put both out of action...at least for the moment.

Kuublu attacks the fallen Hyena, and will do the same for the other if Ammu doesn't. Make sure its visibly 'out of action'... and trying not to get too much blood splashing onto him.

OOC: Ammu bashes phlegm face again.

Ammu avoided being bitten by the creature, but it stumbled away from his blow. The other staggered animal began to rise again...

Kuublu struck again spitting his enemy through before it was able to sink its teeth into him.

Kuublu immediately turned to assist Ammu and together they brought down the beast facing him, with all the creatures wounded and suffering from their illness it was relatively easy to finish each of them off before they could rise to their paws again.

Both men checked each other over carefully but it seemed that no skin had been broken, it was unlikely the sickness or, as some believed, the evil spirits that caused it would be able to find a way inside them.

OOC: Once it is clear that we are in no immediate danger, Ammu crouches on the ground, holding his injured shoulder and nodding rhythmically, eyes closed. He is drinking Coti's Milk [casting invigorate] and will ignore the prince until fully healed or he psychically fatigues.
