Ammu creates a Mirage of a great Leopard loping in from the side of the dogs while whooping and waving his arms in an effort to spook them. He'll get out his club as soon as possible, and shout to the others: "Ignore my cat, brothers, it is here to aid us!" OOC: These dogs are not out of their minds like the hyenas so hopefully some psychology will work; I don't like our chances of killing two each given how Kuublu and Ammu fared so unspectacularly before. |

The six dogs balk at the sudden appearance of the big cat and run yelping off into the scrub; the men note the dogs seem relatively well cared for and surmise they were guard animals or camp dogs abandoned when the traders left the town recently. The old man peers down from the tree branch at the three men.... |

Kuublu was all fired up ready for combat. He acknowledges how convenient it is not to get covered in dogs blood and having to wash up afterwards. He gives a brief search before giving the old guys the all clear. |

Mthunzi relaxes, realising that for the time being there will be no fight. He will carefully approach the tree and if necessary, will climb it to help the old man safely down... |

As you approach, the man’s expression of gratitude turns to confusion, then pain. Something whizzes from amongst the higher branches to hit him on the head! You see a balding chimpanzee further up the tree, throwing seedpods at the forlorn prisoner. From its chuckling, it seems to be enjoying itself. It is remarkably accurate. |
