Kuublu would've asked the asked the villagers to prepare torches, and to prepare to celebrate. They should not get stuck in unless it is to tie up some the warriors. Some will be asked to carry weapons away, Kuublu will indicate that they do so when he approaches. Depending on who confronts him and how far he gets he will announce his arrival and that of Kgosi Olmar.

Kgosi Olmar is encouraged to offer a way out and to praise Malim for his work in securing the village in his absence. If he really doesn't wish to carry that out, Kuublu will go with any other action. However a 'promotion' and assignment to some frontier should be good.

OOC:

Well....this is fun....but factoring in alcohol and sleep all of those are successes except Steal to the back of hall and considering lighting conditions they're not going to know it wasn't just a servant moving about or someone off to relieve themselves. The climb out the window...well, I guess window is the best word but its basically a removable piece of cladding... was the crucial one as that would have put you on collision course with a guard patrol so well done.

OOC:
Roll checks against Stealth 14.
Creep downstairs.: 2d10 10
Steal to back of hall.: 2d10 14
Steal weapon.: 2d10 11
Climb out of window.: 2d10 7

Roll check against Perception 6.
Detect signs of he has been discovered.: 2d10 10

Outside the walls:

"Wowoooowoooowoooo! Wowoooowoooowoooo! Wowoooowoooowoooo!"

Followed several seconds later by.

"Wowoooowoooowoooo! Wowoooowoooowoooo! Wowoooowoooowoooo!"

Kuublu moves in. We're removing weapons where possible and sneaking. If confronted Kuublu will make his way to Malim with the others. He will greet them. If they can get away with it, best get the villagers to tie up these soldiers we disarm.

Mthunzi moves with Kuublu, using his stealth to scout ahead and ensure the way is clear.

If he encounters two or three guards he will signal to Kuublu and the others to wait and watch. He will try to sneak behind the guards, grab one and hold his sword to that guards throat. Instructions will be quickly given to all the guards to lay down their weapons while Kuublu and the others come out of the trees to collect them. As a last resort, should he need to he will kill the guard he has restrained and attack the others.

Mthunzi slipped ahead of the others, his form becoming indistinguishable from the shadows thrown by the trees and pallisade....he stepped from the dark and put his blade to the throat of the shortest gate guard. The other guard froze, he hesitated looking like he couldn't decide between calling for help or waiting to see what Mthunzi did next. It was decided for him when Pulgil appeared beside him and placed her spear under his chin.

With the two gate guards under control Kuublu led the others up to the gate, staying out of the torch light as much as possible.

OOC: Mthunzi rolled 9 using 2d10. Stealth.
Pulgil rolled 7 using 2d10. Stealth. ( V. Close but the distraction provided by Mthunzi got her there.)

Kuublu inaudibly speaks "Good work." before moving on.

He tries to reassure the prisoners with an open hand gesture and indicating his gratitude with a solemn nod.

I assume we're securing the guards and leaving them behind, rather than taking a 'chain gang' with us?

After confirming that the two prisoners are secure but not too roughly handled by Pulgil and Mthunzi, Chiemeka follows the others, trying to match Kuublu's path as closely as possible.

The prisoners were tied up back to back and gagged with Kuublus rope and placed under the semi-watchful eyes of the old watchman and his parrot.

The group continued on through the town Kgosi Olmar, Chiemeka and the two elderly warriors split off to meet with Ngela and the old cook.

The others, with Mthunzi scouting the way, headed towards the longhouse.

About halfway there, Mthunzi noted two mercenaries on patrol, he stepped back into the shadows but by pure chance one of the men met his eyes as he did so. Mthunzi knew the others were too far behind to have been seen as well.

" You there. Come here."

Discretely perched high up in the tree watching Malim's two bored looking guards, Ak'kulula's sharp ears catch a vague muffled snatch of someone's voice in the distance.

Sounds like a challenge of some kind... perhaps the Prince and his men are here.

He remains quietly hidden in the tree but grips his stolen weapon tightly in his hand and prepares for action.
