Ak'kulula studies the ancient machete and the leather necklace carefully. The strange sigil that marks the rusted blade catches his gaze.

OOC - Does his See Enchantment reveal anything? Also, does he recognize the sigil or remember anything connected to it?

He points to the sigil on the machete and looks questioningly at the ancient woman.

"Nana...Mother of Moons same?"

When Ak'kulula has finished examining the necklace, Chiemeka takes it back and ties it carefully around his neck, before clasping Aunt Nansi's hands in his own and thanking her for the gift.

" That is a good question, Little One. Indeed it is the same as the altar.....isn't that curious?"

OOC: There is something special about the necklace but he can't find out much more.

Turns to Aunt Nansi.

"Where is the Mother of Moons? How will we find her? Is her spirit bound to a resting place?"

" She is above, on the hillside. In the white stone house as she was back in the ancient days."

"Then let us go there. I am not sure what we can do to convince her, or whether she will speak to us. But we must try."

Ak'kulula ponders Aunt Nansi's words carefully but their deeper meaning eludes him for the moment. He is not anxious though, knowing that all will be revealed in their proper time. Gently, he takes the hand of the ancient wise woman, holding it in his grasp for a moment as he looks into her eyes in a heartfelt expression of deep thanks. Lowering his head, he touches her hand to his forehead in an act of profound respect.

"My Mother. My Teacher. My Friend."
"May you look azure sky and heart have peace no end."

He stands up and nods at the Prince.

OOC - GM I assume Ak'kulula would know the area nearby and is able to lead the party up the hills taking safer easier paths. Right?

"Way up Ak'kulula know. Show."

In an astounding display of agility, Ak'kulula hugs the walls of the tiny hut as he slinks past the companions and exits the rock-hut. He turns back to the companions and beckons.

"Come. Time little."

"Lets go then. We're not solving anything sitting around here playing guessing games and talking in riddles."

Ammu casts a weary glance at Aunt Nansi. He finds deliberately obscure types annoying and is tired of having to concentrate to understand Ak'kuulula's peculiar speech patterns.

"I agree," says Chiemeka. "I think we have learned all we can here."

"About time..."

Mthunzi follows the boy out of the hut.

The companions exit the crystal boulder and follow
Ak'kulula up a steep path on the far side of the gorge, above them the lights of Mother of Moons dwelling are visible flickering through the trees.

There is a sudden roar from above and two massive shapes come crashing down the slope through the brush towards the companions.
