Quietly but intently, Ak'kulula watches the sudden series of events from the time the Prince took the bowl and threw its contents into the barrier of violet light, up till when Kubluu entered the barrier and suddenly cries out in fear, a look of stark terror on his regal face.

He picks up the silver bowl from the floor, dips it into the purple spring and fills it with another serving of the corrosive liquid. Shutting out every peripheral thing, the Mystic focuses his otherworldly senses on the liquid in the bowl.

OOC - Premonition check: 1d100 38 vs 39%.

Ak'kulula lifts the bowl and drains its contents in a single gulp, handing the empty bowl back to Pulgil. Lifting his hand before himself, he walks slowly towards the violet light, and then right into it, and if there is no obstruction of any kind, right through it to the other side.

Ak'kulula passes without incident through the barrier to find Kuublu cowering on the other side looking bereft.

The Mystic breathes an inward sigh of relief. He looks through the barrier of light at his companions. "Fill the bowl from the spring of purple liquid and drink from it. This will allow you to pass unharmed through the light."

He draws near to Kubluu with a look of perplexed concern. Recalling to mind some of the knowledge picked up from watching Aunt Nansi examine and treat injured men and animals, he begins observing and testing the Prince for signs of abnormalities whether physically, or in his behavior. The lad looks intently into Kubluu's eyes, probing for perhaps the presence of another consciousness within...

Chiemeka takes Ak's advice and proceeds through the barrier, where he looks Kuublu over. While the transformation is currently beyond his experience and his healing powers, he does not share this with the Prince.

"Perhaps the answer to your condition lies further in the tomb, your Highness - we should proceed carefully."

Uncertainty written all over his youthful face, the Mystic nods nonetheless. His liege's words override whatever misgivings he may still hold. "Then shall we continue your Highness?"

"What is this place anyway?" Turning around slowly, he examines this part of the cavern they are in.

OOC - Hahah...rolling Premonition/ESP checks and "applying" Ak's See Enchantment spell effect every time we change scene...is quickly getting old for me. GM I will just take it that you will take all these into account and reveal whatever insights and extra details these senses yield. :)

Passing through the barrier of light, you look north along a plain stone corridor. The sound of a surging underground river echoes from the darkness ahead.
