Uruka says to his opponent," Well fought, you have my respect." He then picks up his opponent's blade and heals himself.

OOC: I feel like killing him.

Kuublu roars in triumph, some imitation of a lion but much more high pitched as he is accustommed to. He steps forward and kicks away the blade, in the direction of Chiemeka.

"You submit to justice! And I will defend you with truth, we will be fair!"

Kuublu glares at the other follower until he backs away from his weapon. Full defence against Buzwe though.

With his Assegai held up but not raised too high, Kuublu will escort Buzwe. He will not be tied but will be treated with respect. He will be disarmed though.

Buzwe frowned, " Fair? Justice? If there was any justice I would never have been sent out to this boil on the rump of the Empire....."

" I presume the reason you avoided me earlier and attacked now is because you know the true reason I sent you?"

The man raised an eyebrow at Uruka, " I did not know I was fighting witches....you should be dead...or nearly so..."

" Very well, I will be off now. It has been a fun little interlude, but I must go find another employer now."

Uruka attacks the unarmed enforcer, stabbing his weapon into his stomach.
"Well governor, seems you have a traitor here," Uruka says

The man fell to the ground with a baffled look as he bled out and died.

For the moment the bluster left Buzwes face, " Why? I see how it is now."

He took off at a run.

" Murder! Murder!", he yelled as he started running.

The two village elders looked at Kuublu aghast.....

Kuublu is alarmed at the turn of events. Might as well go along with it, can't do anything about it now.

I figure I should get a free hit, he was close and my assegai was in the air. I'd slash at his legs, that'll leave a trail and get him limping.

"Cease! In the name of Great Chief Oubluu!"

Uruka runs after the governor slashing at him and telling him that his guard was about to abandon him.

Buzwe is cut down in a flurry of blows and tumbles to the ground in a gout of blood.

The village elder and the smith flee the market square and head into the longhouse through the curtained entrance.

Other villagers peek out from homes with scared expressions and worried faces....

"Buzwe is guilty of treason! He tried to avoid his sentence and justice was carried out!"

Kuublu beckons the villagers to help load his corpse onto the ox cart. He might as well arrange a proper burial.

OOC: Need to read up on justice rules, wonder if people can survive treason, if I recall it was way more serious than murder. Didn't want to tie him, it didn't suit his status, still, now that hes dead, saves roleplaying the lawyer....

In fact, I think death by hanging is still a possibility in the UK for treason.

How many days to get back to Buzwe's village? Might as well send him along with his relatives. Maybe send a messenger to the nearest garrison and ask for some escort. Preferably not from Buzwe's garrison. We'll get someone, maybe Malim to do the temporary governing whilst we head to the capital.

Uruka will loot the items of the two recent dead.

OOC: any xp for all our hard work?

None of the villagers emerge from their shelter.
