Sten shrugs "May I borrow the goblet, Laila?" Assuming she says yes, Sten dips the goblet into the purple liquid .... he takes a deep breath then downs it in one go. |

Corvin observes Sten and Laila for signs of imminent demise or bewitchment. Awe noting that they are okay he will gesture for Laila to pass him the goblet and motion for Sten and Laila to proceed through the purple barrier saying “Time to test it out I guess. Of you go then. Pay close attention as you pass through the barrier. I would like a full report. Any strange sensations?” |

Max watched his newly found companions downing the purple liquid. Ballsy bunch he reckoned! Deciding that someone might need to be on standby if this didn’t work out as they hoped he refrained from partaking but stood ready to assist should help be needed. |

Laila and Sten walk through the barrier. The lights fizzle around them, and they are through, remarkably not dead. The barrier closes itself again, the purple lights flickering around like a shimmering curtain. Through this, you see Laila and Sten on the other side, though the view seems "misty". Calder doesn't die -- has Corvin supped from the goblet? |

Corvin looks skeptically at the liquid then scoops up some of the purple stuff and quaffs it down. He tosses the goblet nonchalant to Max, squares his shoulders and strides boldly through the purple barrier. |

Drystan looks at the silent drama, wave at Max as if to say "you first", then he also drinks some of the purple liquid and goes through the barrier. |
