Hi All,

This is a note to say thanks to Lee (aka Cobwebbed Dragon on this forum) for the wonderful player aids he has available at his site The Cobwebbed Forest. I am running a group through the Elven Crystals and we used the reference sheets last session which greatly reduced the page flipping!

I love the Cobwebbed Forest. It's constantly open during my Tuesday night game because of the ability to quickly create an NPC on the fly, when my player characters suddenly get into a bar brawl I wasn't expecting.

It's comments like that that will enthuse me to get back to developing the site some more :). I also do requests, should anything not be working how you'd like or there's content you'd expect that you can't find.

And when the Players' Book arrives, I'll do my best to include the new professions\options in the tools and reference sheets, with the proviso that, just like SKG, I wouldn't want to commit to any deadlines 'cos that's a recipe for disappointment... (And, often, my ambition outstrips my talent :( )!

Eesh, should really check it out more often... autogen a character... great, I can see it coming in useful for a GM....

We're all looking to spend less time on the drudgery of preparing games and checking rules (especially if it slows down a gaming session) and more time on creativity and playing :geek: !

It's these little nuggets of encouragement that motivate me to keep pecking away at my long list of ambitious plans for the site! :)

I want the Cobwebbed Forest to be useful, so am happy to take requests for any material, apps, or information anyone thinks would be useful to have collected and available there - I'm currently looking to have the Character Generator create populated Word-format character sheets you can download for editing/printing/e-mailing to your players, but have hit a couple of snags with it. Watch this space!
