I am going to back this, but looking at it with my DW centric mindset, I wish the the d6 was the mace, and the d8 was the sword and not the other way around

That's a neat idea, but I have some 10-sided dice that are similarly round and I can tell you that those are a pain to actually use at the table. They have a tendency to tip over and roll around, so one has to be careful to roll them on a flat, solid surface and avoid touching them thereafter. I bet that 4-sided dice would work well, though. |

I have some gimmicky dice, too, and I agree with Maasenstodt - they're a neat curiosity, but I wouldn't use them at the gaming table. |

I've got a 2d6 dreidel around here somewhere. Purely a novelty; you can't beat the good old platonic solids (plus d10...) Cheers, -Kyle |

Me neither - it's the UK Games Expo tomorrow and I just know I'll walk away with another faux velvet bag containing an array of novelty polyhedrals I'll never use. Let's hope my other half never finds out how much they cost...
