Hello All,

It’s been a little while between drinks but I thought I’d hop on here to see what’s happening in the DW world. Sadly it looks like there has been very little official activity since the Players Book was released.

Does anyone have any news to share?

I'm supposed to get half an hour chat with Dave Morris at some point in time over a kickstarter for a frankenstein game. Wondering whether there is a good video recording software or whether I should just use an external camera....

No idea when that chat is going to take place...

That should be fun.

Maybe a dragon warriors kickstarter one day. I picture a boxed set with some character figures etc..

But then again i'm happy when I see a new pdf come out these days...

Near as we can tell....cos theres been pretty much dead silence from SKG is that both Shauns scenario ( The Summoners Tale) and The Reeves Tale are somewhere in editing or proofing or thereabouts and have been for about 6-9 months.....

On the unofficial front we had a new scenario over at Cobwebbed Forest, Cadaver Draconis has been downloaded a hell of a lot to pretty positive reviews and the netbooks I and others are working on here are advancing slowly; Shaun is doing maps for them but he's got a lot on his plate so we're takign things as they come.

:)

Rumtap theres still plenty of time if you want to contribute 'pages from your ancient tomes of wisdom' to any of the netbooks. :)

I've been called ancient before but never wise.

If you clue me in as to what you have what you need etc. I may be able to find something in my old ramblings that could be of use.

Have a look at the Fan Projects Forum. Each Ebook has its own thread with a link to the each ebooks google doc. :)

Not really a lot there that I could add too.

What I will do when I get the time is revise the stuff I put on the old wiki and bring it over here.

I had 2 professions and a few new creatures, mostly created for my Hudristania campaign. I do miss that campaign, it was a lot of fun, just didn't have the time or energy to keep it going.

I also will try find my notes on a couple of homemade scenarios I had. One was called "Festival of the Moon", it wasn't anything too deep as it was my first attempt at writing my own and was delivered to a low level group with some new gamers many moons ago... Still I think they had fun with it and that's what counts in the end I guess.

The second was for the Hudristania campaign but we never got up to it. So it was only a rough outline and needed a lot of fleshing out. I'd like to finish it off one day.

So what is the plan for the ebooks? are they for this site only or are you looking at publishing them elsewhere?

Depends what happens with the DW license....personally I'd really like to get them up ( after extensive editing/proofing/art direction/conversion ) on Drivethru as free downloads through Shauns imprint....but I don't think thats doable as things currently stand.

Well we could always do a Hudristania Netbook, do you have a town/area detailed? If I remember rightly about that game there was definetely enough there for a regional gazeteer and adventures....theres probably a bunch of stuff of mine on the Wiki that is drawn from Slavic/Hungarian folklore to be of use to you as well.

:)
