Speak more on this.
Verily, brave Hunter.
Dragonmeet is getting bigger and bigger each year. It is now run by Modiphius and is a "tabletop gaming" convention with minis and boardgames, as well as being the biggest London RPG convention (second biggest in the UK after Games Expo?). The new venue this year was a plush hotel with tons of space to mill around and chat (unlike previous years at other venues). There were lots of predominantly UK/EU trade stalls with great rpg/board/minis product on sale and some great bundle deals. Even Chaosium were on-hand with Pulp Cthulhu. Seminars were fun and it almost goes without saying that the Ken Hite & Robin D. Laws comedy special was packed.
On the down side, there were hiccups with venue entrance signage/queues, roleplay session sign-up/noise, and food/drink but hopefully Modiphius will iron out those wrinkles if they host at the same venue next year.
Excepting for the Tales, the full line of DW books were available in softcover (rulebook in hardcover, of course), and there was even a convention special offer of £80 for all books (unless my still-flu-addled brain is playing tricks on me). Sadly, I had not the wits to photograph said DW preciousness.
Future DW developments were not discussed, and I have nothing more to add on that score.
If anybody else attended then please do chip in.
