Ok, in the original book 6 it mentions that you can create a flying device with its horns. Any info on how to go about this? Is this in the new edition bestiary? So how do we create a flying device from these horns? Oh and while I'm on the topic, anyone got any info on unicorns in dragwars apart from book 3 references?

Hi, I suppose we must look for news about unicorns in other fantasy books and use it in Legend.

I like the Harry Potter (sorry!) idea of Unicorns actually - pure, can only be approached by a maiden, blood grants cursed immortality, etc. However, the Pratchett interpretation (wild and cruel beasts) could also be fun to roleplay (read Lords and Ladies for full information).

Arthurian "romantic" fantasy portrays the fey and their creatures as very different from as in traditional British folklore, in which the fey are more capricious, malevolent, and amoral. Which approach you use in your game is pretty much personal choice. I like darker and more sinister faerie in my campaign, so manifestations of the fey and their creatures should be disturbing in some way - not just another monster to be slaughtered and harvested for magical components. Dragon Warriors was published in an era in which there needed to be lots of high-fantasy and Tolkienesque elements to make them marketable, and simple enough to make it accessible with familiar tropes. You can easily spot these elements within the game because they are the bits that seem incongruent with the rest of the material. So be prepared to deal with a faerie curse if you start hunting magical creatures for their enchantable parts - it might not be in the rules, but it's in the spirit...

Not just curses. Those items would probably be valuable to certain other faeries too... And they may go to some lengths (both fair and foul) to get them off the players.
