Profession: Barbarian
Was watching a horror movie, Winchester and it crossed my mind how psychic talent is under utilized. Perhaps a person with a high psychic talent in addition to having a minor bonus to perception in the real world might also have a broad insight into the paranormal world. Maybe too much to give them the mystic sixth sense ability, or 7th sense, even if its say, 1 quarter of the mystics.

But it would be great that people who are highly attuned would be susceptible to horrors and be detached from reality. Maybe bad to penalize them, but surely, if we reverse the penalties so some ignorant barbarian is less susceptible to mind control than a super sensitive yet psychically gifted assassin? In the same way, those who have high psychic talent are more susceptible to COMMAND and all the other fancy direct attack magic spells?

And to make up for all these disabilities, perhaps ESP on flawed weapons, being able to feel auras, evil intents, malevolent spirits, the presence of the dead that just passed and all the cthulu fun stuff that I've briefly touched on in horror movies....

...yes, and susceptibility to madness, less so than bloodraging barbarians who are just faking their madness....

And so the show begins!!!
