I believe I have a complete collection of all Dragon Warriors materials from both the Corgi era and the Magnum Opus/Serpent King era.

I'm now trying to put together a collection of other materials relating to the Lands of Legend. Actual printed materials. Preferably in original editions, but once I've finished that I am likely to go for reprints as well.

This is what I have so far (as of this week when I plugged a couple of holes). Anybody here able to suggest anything else I should be looking for?

Mortal Combat? Or, given that it predates Dragon Warriors, would you not consider that canon?

It depends on if it contains anything about Legend. I have no idea.

I haven't included Fabled Lands, for example, because while I like it, to the best of my knowledge, that isn't Legend specific. I also own the other three Golden Dragons but they don't.

A copy of 'Mortal Combat' would certainly be something I'd like to have, but I am focusing here on Legend related material, specifically.

Nothing that's not in Dragon Warriors - there are a few monsters that didn't make it across to DW, for example, and a few names of "things" that retain the same flavour as Legend, but Legend wasn't particularly fleshed out in the Mortal Combat days, so whilst it's an objet d'curiosite for DW collectors, it probably wouldn't add value to a Legend-focused collection.

I would recommend the Red Giant articles on Brymstone, should you be able to get hold of them - Legend-focused and canon (with slightly more content than was published on DM's blog). I've never seen physical copies of Red Giant anywhere for sale, though, so good luck!!

Thanks - yes, definitely need to add those to my list. Whether I will be able to find them is, of course, another question :)

This one I believe. Obviously not an actual copy.

Scribd is a website that profits from selling other people's copyrighted content on the basis that most copyright holders don't object - they don't check they are entitled to sell their content, they just (might) take it down if copyright holders complain. It's lazy, exploitative, and despicable - I wouldn't touch anything they were offering. I'd rather make my scans of the Brymstone material therein available than allow money to pass into Scribd's abusive hands.

If you're looking for other periodicals, stuff that was going to go into the ill-fated Brymstone supplement is also in White Dwarf magazines #53 and #62. As with a number of "DW" articles, it was published under the RuneQuest or AD&D banner to make it commercial (much like the Brymstone content in Red Giant). The elementalist spells in these magazines were written by Robert Dale and fit with DW Brymstone - I do have conversions, but they still use a lot of Robert's original text, so I'd need to rewrite this before releasing them. I guess I could just publish the elemental domain, spell level, and darkness geasa for each, though, as that wouldn't be covered by Robert's copyright...

Although part of me is still hoping that the Brymstone supplement will see the light of day - lots of background material about the city and its social structure, a much-expanded adventure, some original material from Dave Morris, new spells and NPCs, etc. I'm quite proud of it!

True. But as it was the first google result I figured it was known anyway. Kinda like how all the DW books are on .pdf Troves...it sucks but its how it is.

I don't suppose theres a chance I could get a peek at your supplement? Willing to sign an NDA. :)
