WFRP had that proposed supplement Tetsubo. I think it was meant for some other system. Someone was kind enough to make it available, maybe it was Dave Morris's site but someone put the link in yahoo groups or somewhere.

Just curious. Is there any notes about the shape of the lands of legend around Yamato and Khitai? Where the hell is Batuban and what is the real world equivalent?

Anybody confident enough to create their Dragwars oriental adventures content? Maybe this is a good start?.....

It's available from Dave M's blog: http://fabledlands.blogspot.co.uk/

The link to it is in the sidebar on the right (quite a way down).

I produced some maps of Yamato, produced from Dave M's original notes. Admittedly, his handwriting (or maybe it's Jamie's?) was difficult to be sure I got all the names correct, but they are, as far as I know, the only maps of Yamato out there:

And my apologies for the state of the Cobwebbed Forest's Library at the mo - I experimented with some site automation and haven't quite got the algorithms to work with the CSS quite right yet...

Not me! I prefer the pseudo-Dark Age Europe vibe going on in Ellesland.

We may have some Eastern cousins on this mailing list familiar enough with an equivalent period in the Orient to be able to propose some themes tho. Anyone?

Hm... I recall someone making an entry which I believe made it into the wiki for a supposed victory for the Han dynasty. But that is referring to events in 200 BC our world which was a bronze age era. I like to stick with the original history of our world. They sure had a lot of sappers, building walls in that age and also an entire army of Automatons. Or maybe they really didn't have the resources for all Automatons but the personal guard of the Emperor. Anyway, that's for Khitai, and I'm not sure about a possible 10th or 13th century equivalent Khitai.

As for Yamato, not sure. All the fun stuff I've read about is 15th and 16th century. It was during the age of colonization, if a few centuries earlier, I haven't done enough reading of that era.
