Slight sidetrack (apologies): is Balor from the Prince of Darkness and Balor (or Balar) of the fomorians meant to be the same entity? The vast unstoppable demon personifying darkness from the adventure doesn't to me seem to be a good match with the powerful, but earthy cyclopean demi-god (and the one referred to in the Evil Eye spell) and I've always wondered if they are truly the same thing.

I'm pretty sure they are supposed to be the same...nothing to say Balor isn't one-eyed as any who see him drop dead in an instant.

The majority of other Fomorians are earthy enough...Balors just soaked up a lot of the darkness of the City of Nem during his slumber...maybe?

SO should we try and get some forward movement on this?

I know CD is doing some stuff.

Anybody else got any old NPCs, Adventures, Locations etc. that are Thuland based?

Hermes did you end up finding that info?

If so drop it into the Fan Projects forum.

I'm 80% done on the info I have on the gdoc. Not sure how CD is going with his stuff.
