I have been pondering this idea.

Would there be interest in playing through the five Bloodsword books here on this forum in a 'play by post' format? Either playing them as pure Bloodsword or as an 'on the fly' Dragon Warriors conversion?

I would be happy to run either, assuming we can find enough interested players.

What I envisage is a fairly straightforward run through with choices limited to those offered in the books.

As people will be aware, they are designed to be played by a party.

I would be using the original editions (as I do not own the new ones yet) at least up until Book 5. If and when we get to Book 5, if the new version is available we could use that as I understand it should be much improved.

If interested, express that interest here - or ask any questions you may have.

I would most definetely be interested!

DW conversion sounds most interesting but I'd be happy to use BS system if others want that. :)

Sounds like fun. Maybe I can play my typical Assassin.... Or even better, a Sapper!

Ideally, I would like one more. I am willing to play as well (the nature of Bloodsword allows this - it doesn't need a GM as such) but my experience is you get a better game with four than you do with three. But three is enough.

If we got two more players, I'd be willing to merely facilitate - four is the maximum party size in standard Bloodsword.

(If we got more than five players - which seems unlikely - I'd run it with Dragon Warriors rules and modifications - that is still an option with less players, but would be necessary if we went over four).

If we don't get any more soon - I'd be willing to start this off just after Christmas. If we suddenly got enough players, we might be able to start earlier.
