Looks fine.

Mistress Marta would have handled his initial education, then passed him onto a Warlock of her acquaintance when she decided he was more suited to Warlock magic.

I will start putting up some more background material over the next few days, and then we'll head to the actual beginning of play.

Feel free, of course, to ask any questions.

Kuhnt was an orphan who grew up in Ongus. At an early age he left the strict confines of his orphanage to get more food. It was good that he was tall for his age and he grew taller ever since but his lack of means has limited his height. Eats at every opportunity and has been known to steal food, or at least, disregard its ownership. He does exert himself and has found much work at the docks and warehouses. He is widely recognized as a good worker and contributor and has a wide network of potential employers who can readily take on his services. Often half naked and when not working he can be found in various pubs across the city drinking heavily. Often involved in minor drunken disputes he is quit accomplished at fighting with his bare hands.

Yes, I know its a chaubretian sirname, but I knew a scotsman called Mr Vize in the 90s living in Scotland who regarded himself as Scottish. We had italians up there too.

Not the English version, Saxon maybe. Got a vaguest idea about that period but I wanted to keep it short.

'Koohnt'. Thats how the germans pronounce it right? Ok to have a saxon name in Ongus right? If people have an issue I can try a 4 letter version.....

I'd prefer a different name - yes, it does seem it is pronounced close to Koohnt, but I have to think about perceptions, from a personal and professional basis - if the parents of one of my students, or one of my students made an issue of this, I could be in trouble, whatever the intention is.

No problem having a Saxon name - but that one is an issue.

Probably. I'm considering those details now.

Three orphans out of four characters...
