Bretwald looks up from his contemplation of the trail. "I've not heard any of these tales, Sten. I've been told that Gully keeps a good inn. Perhaps you fear a soft bed and a good meal. I'm sure that we would appreciate that after a day on the road. I'm sure that good Lucky would. It would be ill should he succumb to his wounds once more." |

”Perhaps we can enjoy this Gully’s hospitality but be watchful for tricks and misdeeds? Let’s hope all he’s guilty of is watering the beer. We should be particularly vigilant if this Gully is thin. Never trust a skinny innkeeper they say! Corvin finishes with a grin. |

Calder paces along, doing his best to keep a sharp lookout. He listens to the tale of his companions but his limited mental prowess made him stop to ponder what his friends said. To him it doesn’t matter if the king is real so long as his treasure is. |

OOC - and we're on the road towards Gully's Inn. I've set up the next post ready for that – but it's up to you to decide where you go. Bretwald is for a good bed and hot meal, but you may want to make camp. I can change the name real easy. Let me know and play out any more road chinwags as you go. |
