The night passes without further incident, Calder and the further watchers having no disruption. With the breaking of the dawn, you set about breaking camp, Bretwald wincing as he moves about. Perhaps a warm bed may have better suited his older bones. Who can tell? A light repast and you're on the road. The last stretch before you get to Saxton lies ahead of you. As does adventure. And untold riches. And certain doom. (Oh, sorry, did that last one come out. Surely accidental. Move on, nothing to see here.) A new thread awaits. |
