Corvin looks around exasperated. “Are you all not curious about what wonders we might discover below? Are you afraid of what we might discover? Their could be fabulous riches down below. I’ll wager that villain Serpent Tongue and his gang were digging for buried treasures.” Turning to Bretwald Corvin continues “I say we take a quick look Father and then we can be on our way to Saxton and Fenring Forest. We can travel through the night if need be. What do you say?” He turns to Sten, Lucky and Godric. “Well are we brave Albishmen or mice? Sten would you leave this pit to Hell unexplored so close to your home village?” |

“I’m not sure it will make much difference when you’re dead” Corvin sniffs in response to Laila’s dismissal of his plan. Turning to Sten, Lucky, Calder and Godric Corvin says “well lads? Who’s with me?” OOC what time of day is it? How long until midnight? Will there be any moonlight tonight? |

Sten scratches his beard in thought for a moment looking at the hilt of serpents sword. "We need to move on to Fenring forest. This hole will be here when we return". I would like to investigate this cult some more when we get to Saxton. Keep an eye out for markings, symbols and images. These things usually run deeper" |

Corvin mutters darkly and says “Let’s pray nothing fiendish and foul issues forth to prey upon the good folk of Gorburn until we return. Let’s also hope Wolfeye and Serpent Tongue have no more kin who will plunder any buried treasure in our absence. Let’s be off then. I’ll mark some trees on our way back to the road so we can locate the hole again.” |
