Sten walks into the inn and looks around, noting the good deed done by the newcomers.
He stops by the innkeep {OOC - this is a small establishment and the innkeep is all you have for now - GM} and orders a drink for each of them and water for Farmer Mugger. "What, are you tryin' to kill Ol' Mugger? Ya can't be givin' im water, it has things what wriggle in it. An' if they wriggle in that, they'll wriggle in ya belly too. He'll have small beer, and I'll tell ya that won't even touch his sides. He likes 'is drink strong."
He walks towards the party.
They see a large barrel chested man well over 6ft tall, dressed in brown breeches and a grey tunic undone showing his hairy chest, with a sword at his side. His tunic is torn and stained with relatively fresh blood and part of his beard is singed on his cheek, his skin burnt.
"Thank you gentlemen for looking after Farmer Mugger. Please take these drinks as a thank you. What seems to be his problem, just drunk or something else?"
Sten places the small beer in front of Mugger. Sten remembers Mugger as a much different man, thinner, less intoxicated, not passed out in a chair. His wife, Maud, always had a kind word for Sten.
