Dragon Warriors

It is dawn as you enter the clearing Bretwald has told you about. In the side of a grassy bank, entwined with the roots of an old tree, stands a massive door of stone.

Tall letters are carved across the face of it. Bretwald picks moss from them with a knife before murmuring, “Here lies Vallandr, who was and will again be King.”

Drystan looks at the door and at Bretwald, and as he hears the words says "Here lies Drystan, who was and will again be alert". With that he lies down and rest.

As Drystan rests,he's disturbed by a jabbing through his bedroll, right into his back. It's really quite uncomfortable.

"Think we should rest and set watches before heading into the under world. We have enough of us to take 4 short watches and keep everyone fresh".

"I'll take first watch," Lucky offers. "Like that thread, I'm all wound up."

Drystan sits up and looks at the ground under his bedroll while muttering "is it impossible for a simple man to find a place to rest? Do you have to be a king to sleep here?".

Drystan moves his roll to one side to see what jabs him so. Hidden in the lush green grass he finds an old and weathered jawbone, like to be human.

"We'll need our strength. Vallandr's door won't be opening easily. Not without a fair amount of digging." says Bretwald, as he unpacks several shovels. "Rest, then dig."

"Dig now or rest first?" Calder asks the priest. He is all ready to loot the tomb.

Laila looks impressed at the stonework, " You lads get your beauty sleep. I'll watch over you."
