"Hundreds and hundreds of years, Sten. Flying carpets, though. I've not heard of such fanciful things."

Corvin peers at the tapestry in the lantern's light. At some point there would have been a lot of red on this. It depicts two armies in battle, each taking grievous wounds.

What's more interesting though is that as he peeks at the tapestry and moves it around, he does find a narrow passage behind!

“Well well. Look what we have here. A concealed doorway.” Corvin looks smugly pleased with his discovery.

Corvin steps back and motions to Sten “Shall we take a look? After you good Sir. Father will you bring the lantern? Or will someone light another?”

Laila lit her own lantern and ventured behind the tapestry with it raised high.

“Right behind you...” Corvin calls out before drawing his sword and following tentatively.

Bretwald holds back with his lantern held high, illuminating the main passageway.

Corvin and Leila creep forward.

Before them they see an octagonal room about five metres across.

The floor is extraordinary—it seems to be made of smooth polished quartz, and below it you can see a curious design of greens and blues overlaid with a scattering of glowing red symbols. Against the south wall is a heavy oak chest.

Calder follows along the party and enters the room. He moves with his sword drawn and shield raised.
In the room he looks at the chest.

"So easy find treasure?" he asks.

”Yes, yes” Corvin mutters in response to Calder distracted by the scintillating floor. He crouched down to touch it and examine it more closely.

Calder picks up a rock and throws it at the chest,

While the others are checking out the room with the pretty floor Sten pulls the tapestry down and lays it on the floor
He glances down the corridor to make sure no one is looking
He then sits crosslegged on the tapestry
"Up" pauses "hmmm Fly"
Ooc does it fly ?
He stands up a little bit disappointed if it doesn't

Laila glares at the chest, " I do not trust that at all."

" This is a very pretty floor."
