As the tapping and quest for a pick axe become increasingly frenetic, Max drops back to a crouch and sights his crossbow on Lucky’s chest.

He didn’t have a clue what was in there but still shuddering from the memory of Elaine’s visage, he wasn’t taking any chances.

tap tap tap tap tap

Increasingly faster.

Tap tap tap crack.

Laila reversed her grip on her seax and brought it down hard on Luckys chest.

With Laila now in front of Lucky, Max adjusts his position to afford him a continued line of sight. His finger tightens ever so slightly on the crossbow’s trigger.

Sten moves to Lucky's side hitting Lucky in the chest with the pommel of his sword as hard as he can

Crack! Lucky's chest crumbles inward, almost as if it were made of eggshell. Dust flies from his chest, swiftly coming down to ground.

You see movement in his torso, and then, a little hand appears from within, reaching towards the party..

“Quickly!” Corvin shouts “capture it in this sack”

He throws one of his satchels to Sten, hoping the Knight will understand him and gather up the disembodied hand before it starts to throttle someone.

Sten grabs the hand and yanks it out of Lucky's body
