"With all due respect, Sir Basril, you are recently turned from Sir Stephen's
company. Nary on 5 minutes ago you were pursuing the woman to cut her down,
now you want to defend her virtue? One from our side ought to stand for the
lady"

Comments on Sir Basril, a twisty turny Knight....

My character wouldn't trust that Knight, for sure. What is my character, anyway?

I think I'd like to have a drink with Sir Basril.

“Ye can listen to me wisdom, now, boyo, or after I wrap this staff around your head a few times. I've no great objection to the latter plan, ye're understand except I'm the poor sod who's going to have to bandage you up. And remember, if you're not afraid of me staff, I can do those other things too.”

“No more of your lies, witch. Do you not admit to meeting with agents of darkness beneath the full moon! Did you not administer foul and unnatural concoctions to this young woman? You have been seen in worship of demonic forces and you will now pay for your crimes. Set fire to the witches pyre!”
—Nathaniel Prendeghast, at the trial and execution of the Widow Fornier, the Village of Dignes, Chaubrette.

Would you like to play the character who hunts down Nathaniel Prendeghast and explains to him in detail the difference between real witchcraft like this (Dragongbreath to groin) and this (Inflict Wound to left ear) and this (Disease to everything) and what was being done by a kindly little old lady who just brewed up doses of feverbane and willowbark for her fellow villagers? (Banish so he can think about what he did).
