Just a thought about the book 2 spells IMAGE and MIRAGE. That was before the STEALTH and PERCEPTION rules. There was a fixed percentile chance of discovering an illusion, but surely for experienced characters with high PERCEPTION there would be a higher probability of seeing things like how wind doesn't ruffle illusionary clothing or other things that the spell caster probably can't account for. Maybe this calls for MAGICAL ATTACK vs PERCEPTION rolls?

Is there other things that we may have missed? How about a STEALTH figure for that damned book 1 King under the forest swinging axe trap tied to that loose tile?

I would allow the magic armours that a warlock can create with the Major Enchantment (Armour) skill to be of whatever type they like, rather than plate, on account of warlocks no longer being able to wear plate armour without penalties.

Seems a bit cruel to allow warlocks to create armour they can't wear

I suppose Stealth and Perception should also affect the chance of acheiveing surprise (or being surprised).

House rule in my games is that a Warlock can wear the special Major Enchantment armours without penalty even though they can't generally wear plate. He can also wear Minor Enchanted Plate that he himself made.

Neither house rule has been relevant to a player yet, as no warlock PC has yet reached the ranks needed to have these skills. It has turned up with one NPC though.

My house rule is no warlocks

Having been running the Elven Crystals, I would expect Darian would be better suited to a Darkness Elementalist, or Demonologist. Similarly the evil priest in on Skull Island.

Another thing in this category is that I would expect some sorceror and mystic spells would effect stealth and perception.

IMAGE and MIRAGE suggest that you only get visual control, no audio. Yet the warlock spell ILLUSION suggests that you can also touch the illusion, and that apart from the spell expiry roll is identical to the sorcerer IMAGE.

So how loud can IMAGE or MIRAGE get? Can you touch these holograms too?

It's pretty clear from the description of Image and Mirage that they are purely visual, and you can't touch Image without dispelling it.

I'd be curious about how loud you can make Illusion (both versions) though; even though the size is limited, the description says nothing about the sound.

For Illusion, as it exists only in the mind of the viewer, I would guess it's as loud as someone imagines it to be, though there are no real sound waves so it can't be 'deafeningly' loud (in a physical sense, though the illusion of sound might mask or drown out real sounds).
